Immediate opening for:
GIS/Cartographer
Position involves ESRI based GIS technologies including ArcView 9.x in conjunction with development of outdoor publishing products.
Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and layout software helpful but not required.
Assist in determining various methodologies for translation and input of information from a wide range of sources - from hard copy to georeferenced data - into a common format for cartographic and tabular output.
Job qualifications:
GIS training and/or experience, with a thorough working knowledge of ESRI, especially ArcView 9.2.
Organizational skills and keen attention to detail including proficiency with database manipulation and scripting concepts.
Good sense of cartography for map creation.
